
We present you a fajita recipe from Chilli Hills .
Fajita is a typical representative of "Tex Mex" cuisine and is a fresh blend of spices. It not only gives a unique exotic flavor to meats and vegetables, but is easy to prepare and provides the necessary dose of spiciness to the senses.
Fajita is one of our favorite dishes on our farm and is the perfect food for garden parties and sharing with friends. Here is our version of this delicious dish!
Ingredients needed for 4 fajitas:
2 chicken breasts
2 red peppers
2 green peppers
1 head of onion
2 pcs. chili peppers /optional/
1 tsp fresh coriander and lime
100 ml. oil or olive oil
1 tsp sour cream
4 pcs. corn tortillas
30 g. Chilli Hills Fajita Mix
1 tsp Chilli Hills homemade salsa
1. Cut the chicken breasts into medium-thick julienne strips and place in a bowl. Add half of the oil and sprinkle with Chilli Hills Fajita Mix . Mix well and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
2. Cut the green, red and hot peppers into strips, and the onion into crescents.
3. Heat the remaining oil in a pan.
4. Add the chicken breasts and cook over high heat until golden brown.
5. Add the vegetables and stir occasionally until they turn slightly golden.
To serve:
Place a pre-heated tortilla on a board and spread a generous amount of the meat and vegetable mixture on it (do not overdo it with the amount so that you can roll the tortilla more easily).
Spread the mixture from the jar of Chilli Hills Homemade Salsa (or homemade salsa). Add sour cream evenly, squeeze a quarter of lime, and sprinkle with chopped fresh coriander.
We roll up the tortilla and we're done.
