Spicy Bulgarian carrot paste from Chilli Hills

Fresh Bulgarian Carrot chili pepper paste, home-made. The paste is ground and ready to explode any dish with aroma and spiciness. A perfect addition to dishes, sauces and marinades.

“Bulgarian Carrot” is the only Bulgarian hot pepper variety known outside of Bulgaria. It is a variety with a rich history. During the Cold War in the 1980s, it was brought across the Iron Curtain and cultivated as a hot pepper variety.

It has unchangeable genetic parameters - color, size, and most importantly, pungency.
