The Sofia Chilli Fest 2024 will take place on October 12 and 13, 2024 at Chilli Hills Farm – Dolni Lozen.
Incredible, but true! Something truly awesome is about to happen in Bulgaria and across the Balkans. The first-ever Chilli Festival will be held at the Chilli Hills Farm! All fans of chilli peppers and Chilli Hills will be able to enjoy a thrilling sensory experience. They will also get the chance to get up close to the most daring chilli eaters!
Sofia Chilli Fest
The Chilli Festival is taking place in honor of the 10th anniversary of Chilli Hills’ founding and will lay the groundwork for the strong development of chili culture in Bulgaria. Sofia Chilli Fest is now officially part of the global community of hot pepper festivals!
The two-day international festival is fully organized by Chilli Hills and will take place right in the heart of our chilli farm (Lozen village, at the end of Markova Livada Street).
When visiting the Chilli Hills farm, you will be guaranteed a surprise. Our Chilli Museum will be waiting for you, immersing you in an incredible atmosphere. You will be able to explore an impressive collection of over 130 varieties of chili pepper plants from around the world.
You can also get your hands on the best artisanal chilli products from Bulgaria, with the presence of interesting brands and highly notable figures from the world of chilli peppers!
Additionally, workshops with charismatic speakers will be held on-site, giving you special attention. They will introduce you to the benefits of fermentation and its endless possibilities, the cultivation of chilli peppers, the secrets of urban farming, and the art of making truly delicious homemade bread…
Participants
On October 12th (Saturday), during the Sofia Chilli Fest 2024, the final showdown between the world champions Mike Jack and Geancarlo will take place. However, on October 13th (Sunday) at exactly 7:00 PM, the battle for the Sofia Cup and Belt will begin.

We are carefully selecting 10 participants for the arena.
Champions from Hungary and Serbia are arriving for the battle for the Sofia Belt and Cup. They will compete against the Bulgarian champions Ivan Grahovski and Trayko Traykov.
This will be an incredibly spectacular match!
The winner will receive the league’s belt, the Chilli Hills Cup, and will have the opportunity to compete in all European matches of the League of Fire.

The event will be hosted by none other than the world star and Guinness World Record holder, Uk Chilli Queen.
