The Lemon Drop pepper, Ají Lemon or Ají Limo, is a hot, citrus-like, lemon-flavored pepper which is popular in Peru, where it is known as qillu uchu. A member of the baccatum species, Aji Lemon / Lemon Drop is around 60 mm long and 12 mm wide with some crinkling. It has a unique lemon flavor and aroma. Heat level over 30,000 – 50,000 SHU on the Scoville scale.
