Unbelievable, but true! Something really great is about to happen in Bulgaria and the Balkans in general. The first-ever Hot Pepper Festival will take place at the Chilli Hills Hot Pepper Farm! All fans of hot peppers and Chilli Hills will be able to enjoy a sensory-shaking spectacle. They will also be able to get up close to the most dangerous hot eaters, whose achievements in the hot pepper eating competition are more than shocking!
Sofia Chilli Fest
The Chilli Festival is taking place in honor of the 10th anniversary of the founding of Chilli Hills and will lay the foundations for a solid development of the chili culture in Bulgaria. Sofia Chilli Fest is now officially part of the global community of chili festivals!
The two-day international festival is organized entirely by Chilli Hills and will take place right in the heart of our chili pepper farm (Lozen village, at the end of Markova Livada Street) .
When you visit the Chilli Hills farm, you are guaranteed to be surprised, because our Chilli Museum awaits you there, which will immerse you in an incredible atmosphere. You will be able to view an impressive collection of over 130 varieties of chilli plants from all over the world.
You will also be able to get the best artisanal spicy products from Bulgaria, there will be the presence of interesting brands and extremely important people from the world of spicy food!
And more - workshops with charismatic lecturers who will give you special attention will await you on site. They will introduce you closely to fermentations and their endless benefits, to growing chili peppers and the secrets of urban farming, as well as the intricacies of making truly delicious homemade bread...
Participants
On 12.10 (Saturday) within the framework of Sofia Chilli Fest 2024, the final between world champions Mike Jack vs. Geancarlo will take place, BUT on 13.10 (Sunday) exactly at 7:00 PM the battle for the Sofia cup and belt begins.
The League Of Fire Champion Belt is now here. A unique trophy engraved with the league's name, specially crafted for the champion who will win it.
We are very carefully selecting 10 participants for the mat.
The champions of Hungary and Serbia are coming to Sofia for the belt and cup battle. They will compete with the Bulgarian champions Ivan Grahovski and Trayko Traykov .
This will be an extremely spectacular match!
The winner will win the league belt, the Chilli Hills Cup, and will be able to compete in all European League of Fire matches.
